In 2004, Irsan was named Designer of the Year by Nokia Fashion Award. In 2005, House of Irsan produced a collection for Bazar Concerto in Indonesia. He was praised for was his "brilliant creativity and concept.

Despite his eccentric character, Irsan is roundly recognized as a highly innovative designer, with superb tailoring skills and is highly sought after.
