HOUSE OF IRSAN
- Born and raised in Indonesia, Irsan fast rose through the fashion ranks to become one of the leading lights of Indonesian design.
Through dedication and self-perseverance He rose through the industry with a display of such flair and innovation fashion. He was immediately awarded an apprenticeship with Didi Budiardjo. He went on to work for Susan Budiarjo, before opening his own studio in Bali. Having introduced his label, House of Irsan managed to secure tabloid headlines with the launch of his avant-garde style, while his beautifully crafted and often outrageous designs attracted a small but fiercely loyal clientele.
In 2004, Irsan was named Designer of the Year by Nokia Fashion Award. He was also hired by several brands to launch their new products and collection, such as LUX, Gudang Garam, Sharp and Nokia to name a few. In 2005, House of Irsan produced a collection for Bazar Concerto in Indonesia. He was praised for was his "brilliant creativity and concept.
Despite his eccentric character, Irsan is roundly recognized as a highly innovative designer, with superb tailoring skills and is highly sought after.
